Partner Primary Schools

As part of The Cam Academy Trust we have strong partnerships with the other Trust primary phase schools:

• Hartford Junior and Infant Schools, in Huntingdon,
• Jeavons Wood Primary School, Cambourne.
• Everton Heath Primary, Everton
• Thongsley Fields Primary & Nursery, Huntingdon
• Offord Primary School, Offord
• Bourn Primary Academy (Associate Member)

We are also part of the CB23 Network, which is made up of the schools who feed into Comberton Village College and Cambourne Village College.

The school works closely with each of the partner schools throughout the year with a varied schedule of training and development opportunities for staff and joint events and activities for students.

Allyance: fully-trained

Gamlingay Village Primary is partnered with Allyance. The aim of the Allyance project is to provide in-school counseling and therapeutic help to children who are struggling due to circumstances outside their control. A fully trained counsellor is able to listen and support children as they express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Through listening and providing creative play, the children are offered strategies that help them to overcome their worries and cope with difficult situations.
