The Pre-School is in a mobile classroom at the front of the school. It is equipped to support the Hygge Approach, which promotes a natural and calm feeling. GVP staff the provision with experienced members of staff, and it is overseen by the school leadership team.
Initially the provision is accommodating 24 children in each session, however this could rise up 60 children per session, if there becomes such demand within the village.
The provision currently offers two sessions: 9am – 12pm and 12pm – 3pm. (Sessions which are in addition to the Government-funded sessions will be charged at £15). Full days are also available and we accept 30 hour funding.
From September 2025, the pre-school wil run from 8:45-11:45, 11-45-2:45 with an optional session from 2:45-3:15 for an additional £2. Children would be expected to attend a minimun of 15 hours.
