Friends of Gamlingay Village Primary

The Friends of Gamlingay Village Primary is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds for Gamlingay Village Primary. We do this by organising a range of events and activities throughout the year, and by attracting sponsorship, donations and grant funding. Every penny we raise is spent on resources and activities designed to advance the education and wellbeing of the school's pupils.

We organise and run the ever popular village fireworks spectacular and run a range of events including school discos, bake sales, non-uniform days, quizzes and more. We also serve refreshments at events like sports day and the nativities. 

We use the money we raise to purchase equipment, such as trim trails and forest school resources, subsidise school trips and organise seasonal gifts for the children.

The committee meet, on average, every half term to arrange these activities and events and to have fun! We are always looking for volunteers to help with events. If you would like to get involved either as a committee member or as a volunteer then please get in touch.
