Children at GVP will gain the knowledge and understanding of the principal religions in the UK to enable them to develop positive attitudes of respect and understanding towards those who hold views and beliefs different to their own. They will understand how beliefs, values and traditions influence people and communities locally and globally. Children will be able to make reasoned and informed judgements about religious and moral issues, enhancing their own spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
